Unlike many firms, we don't  round billable minutes up to the nearest quarter hour, send out legal bills without an itemization of services, nor bill you just because we thought about your matter while engaging in other activity.

 

Instead, We've adopted client-centered policies.

  • We volunteer ways you can do things without a lawyer or reduce fees by making different choices.

  • We respect your need to work within a modest budget

  • We set our rates competitively (see fees)

  • We provide flexible payment options, including barter in some cases.

  • We offer over-the-phone invoice tallies on a moment's notice, so you never have to worry about a surprise legal bill if you don't want to.

  • We provide pro-bono legal services for approved causes

Why?

Our billing policies are not designed to squeeze every cent from our clients. Instead our business model aims at increasing referrals from satisfied clients.
